Carlo Andrea Carloni

DVM, Dipl. Master Ethology

Graduate of Perugia University with the highest possible grade, Doctor Carloni is one of the two co-founders of L'Arca vetinary practice in 1983, and its director. He has always worked in this practice keeping it up to date and being concerned for the most part with Internal Medicine. In 2005 and 2006 he undertook some voluntary clinical work in Rumania with the”Save the Dogs” ONLUS. Since 2012 he has been an AVEC and ESCV member, taking part in various courses and congresses in Italy and overseas. In 2013 he gained his 2nd level Master Diploma in Pet Animal Ethology at Pisa University. Since 2014 he has been enrolled in the list of the Behaviourist Veterinary Doctors of FNOVI. He participates in teaching ENCI courses for dog instructors and in SCEN courses for pet-therapy dog instructors. Currently, his main areas of interest are Internal Medicine, Behavioural Medicine and Animal well-being.

Graduated in 2009 from Camerino University with his thesis on the reproduction of Peregrine falcons in captivity. He has made various externships with diverse facilities in Italy and abroad. Since 2012 he has worked as a partner in the “L'Arca” veterinary practice. In 2015 he sit the ESVPS (European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies) examination and obtained his General Practicioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery (GPCert(SAS)). Since the same year he is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). His areas of interest are Soft Tissue Surgery, Radiology and Birds of Prey' Medicine and Surgery.

Graduated in 1992 at Perugia University, having previously attended various veterinary facilities in the area. Since 1993 she has worked at “L'Arca” veterinary practice where she became a partner in 1999. In (?XXXX?) she completed the Medical Emergency and Intensive Care teaching course organised by SCIVAC (1) . In 2004 she co-founded ONLUS “FeliSOS” (2) which seeks to provide veterinary assistance for stray cats. In 2006 she co-founded the Valdichiana section of ENPA (3) . In 2010 she completed the Anaesthesia Teaching Course approved by the Post-University Veterinary Training School. Her main areas of interest are feline medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Anaesthesiology and Pain Control.

Graduated from Perugia University in 2010 with his research thesis titled: “Lesioni Neoplastiche e Simil-Neoplastiche delle Cavita' Orale del Gatto” (1), which was the subject of scientific publication in the “Veterinaria” medical journal. Since 2011 he has been involved with Medical Emergency and Intensive Care, working in 24 Hour First Aid. In 2012 he attended the Diagnostic Cytopathology Course at the Veterinary Medicine Faculty at Perugia. He has worked with “L'Arca” veterinary practice since 2013, being involved with, mainly, Internal Medicine and Laboratory Medicine, particularly Cytology and Oncology. Since 2014 he has been a member of SICIV (2) and he is presently enrolled in the UNISVET (3) Oncology Master Executive.

DVM

Graduated from Perugia University in 2011 with his thesis titled: " Use of corpectomy on the treatment of toracolombar discal hernias in dogs". Since the same year he works on Small animals medicine and surgery. He attended and is still attending various formative events and congresses mainly on small animal surgery and diagnostic imaging. He has worked with "L'Arca" since 2015 and his main areas of interest are soft tissue surgery, radiology and emergency and critical care medicine.

Patrizia works in the practice's administration but thanks to her personal ability and long-term experience in dealing with animals, she is of invaluable assistance in their nursing care.

Laureata presso la Facoltà di Medicina Veterinaria dell'università di Parma nel Novembre del 2010. Dal 2011 al 2014 si è dedicata al settore dei grossi animali, nello specifico degli equini. Dal 2015, dopo aver deciso di trasferire sui piccoli animali da compagnia le sue competenze mediche e professionali,collabora con la struttura occupandosi prevalentemente della gestione dei casi critici in degenza. Sta attualmente frequentando un percorso di approfondimento in terapia intensiva presso l'Università di Bologna.
